Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Emisonian LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Showing Mobile mobile application or visit showingmobile.com (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
1.1 Account data
- Firebase Authentication UID, generated when you sign in. This is the only identifier we use to associate your data with you.
- Phone number if you sign in with phone, or email address and (optional) display name if you sign in with Apple or Google.
We do not collect or store passwords. Authentication is handled by Apple, Google, or Firebase Phone Auth.
1.2 In-app activity
- Riders, horses, and shows you favorite or follow.
- Your notification preferences and the list of devices on which you've enabled push.
- Spotlights you've purchased (target rider/horse, custom emoji, expiration).
1.3 Subscription & purchase data
- Active subscription tier (Free / Fan / Pro), expiration, and one-time Spotlight purchases.
- RevenueCat customer identifier, which we use to verify entitlements with Apple's App Store / Google Play.
We do not see or store your card number, payment method, or full Apple ID / Google account information. Apple and Google process payments and only share aggregate transaction status with us.
1.4 Device & technical data
- Push token (Expo push token) and platform (iOS / Android) so we can deliver notifications.
- Approximate location, only at the moment you tap the "Near Me" button to sort upcoming shows by distance. Your coordinates are used in-memory for that single request and are not stored on our servers.
- Crash and performance data via Sentry: stack traces, app version, OS version, device model. Sentry's mobile SDK is configured to scrub PII before sending.
1.5 We do not
- Track you across other apps or websites for advertising. The app does not use the iOS App Tracking Transparency permission and does not call any ad-networking SDKs.
- Sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- Use cookies or web tracking on showingmobile.com beyond standard server logs.
2. How we use your information
- Provide the Service: show results, deliver push notifications, manage subscriptions and Spotlights.
- Improve the Service: aggregated, non-identifying analytics to understand which features are used.
- Diagnose problems: crash and error reporting via Sentry, scoped to the bug at hand.
- Communicate with you: respond to support emails you send to help@showingmobile.com.
3. Service providers
We share data only with the following sub-processors, each bound by a data processing agreement:

4. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Specific retention windows:
- Notification history: 7 months. Notifications older than that are automatically deleted by our daily retention job.
- Pending notifications: 24 hours. Anything older that hasn't been delivered is automatically purged.
- Push tokens: deleted automatically after 60 days of inactivity, or immediately when Apple / Google reports the device as unregistered.
- Account & favorites: kept indefinitely while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 5).
5. Your rights — including how to delete your account
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Export your data
You can request a machine-readable copy of every row we hold under your account (favorites, notification preferences and history, subscription status, aliases, Spotlights, and any pending deletion schedule). The export is delivered as a JSON file. Use the Settings → Account → Export my data action in the app, or email help@showingmobile.com from the address on file. EU/UK users may exercise this right under GDPR Article 20.
Delete your account from the app
Open Settings → Account → Delete account. We schedule your account for permanent deletion 14 days later. During that window you can sign back in and tap "Cancel scheduled deletion" to keep your account. After the 14 days have passed, your Firebase UID, favorites, notification history, push tokens, Spotlights, and aliases are irrevocably purged from our database.
Delete your account by email
Email help@showingmobile.com from the address on file (or with your phone number if you signed in with phone) and we will process the deletion within 30 days.
Subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To cancel, open the App Store / Google Play app on your phone, find Showing Mobile in your subscriptions, and tap Cancel. We never see and cannot cancel your store subscription on your behalf.
California, EU/UK, and other jurisdictions
If you live in California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.), the rights described above apply to you, plus any rights provided by your local law to access a copy of your data, port it to another service, or object to processing. Email help@showingmobile.com to exercise these rights. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We follow the principle of least privilege for service-to-service access and rotate credentials regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of a breach affecting your data.
7. Children
Showing Mobile is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email help@showingmobile.com and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure runs in the United States. By using the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge your data will be processed in the United States.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
